Terms and Conditions

RowDex is a native desktop database client for PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, and BullMQ, available for macOS, Windows, and Linux. Basic is free. Pro adds unlimited connections and additional features on a monthly or yearly subscription, or as a one-time Lifetime purchase, as described on our pricing page.

You need a RowDex account to use Pro features or bind a license to a device. You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating an account or beta request.

Paddle.com, our authorized payment provider, handles billing, invoicing, and tax for subscription and Lifetime purchases as the Merchant of Record. By purchasing Pro, you also agree to Paddle's Buyer Terms, available at paddle.com/legal/buyer-terms.

Monthly and yearly Pro plans renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from your account page; cancelling stops future renewals but does not retroactively refund the current billing period except as described in our Refund Policy. The Lifetime plan is a single one-time payment that grants Pro access for as long as RowDex operates — there is no recurring charge to cancel.

Where offered, a free trial gives temporary access to Pro features. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your saved payment method is charged automatically at the end of the trial. Promotional discount codes are single-use per account unless stated otherwise and may be withdrawn at any time without notice.

You may not use RowDex to access systems or data you are not authorized to access, to reverse-engineer or resell the software, or to circumvent license or device limits. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that we reasonably believe are fraudulent or abusive.

RowDex connects directly from your device to the databases you configure. Connection credentials are stored locally in your operating system's secure keychain and are not transmitted to or stored on our servers. See our Privacy Policy for what account and telemetry data we do collect.

RowDex is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the software, including data loss from queries you run against your own databases — you remain responsible for your own backups and for reviewing any query before running it.

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date above. Continued use of RowDex after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
