Saved queries and history
Save the queries you reuse, search your history, organize with titles and tags, and insert any of them into the editor with @.
On this page
Two lists keep your past work within reach: Saved queries, which you choose to keep, and History, which RowDex records as you run queries.
Save a query#
- Press ⌘S to quick save. If you have text selected, only the selection is saved; otherwise the whole query is.
- Use the panel to add a title, an optional description and tags.
- Edit a saved query later with the edit button: change the title and the SQL, then press ⌘S to save or Esc to cancel.
Find and reuse#
- Search by name or content.
- Scope: show queries for This connection or All connections (all connections is a Pro feature).
- Sort by recently used, recently added or title (A to Z).
- Insert puts the query into the editor. Or type
@in the editor to search and insert without opening the panel.
History#
Every query you run is recorded, so last Tuesday's debugging statement is a search away. Switch to the History tab, search, and re-run or insert any entry.
